WhatsApp has started rolling out Chat Themes and colours for Android Beta users. The Meta-owned company leaves no stone unturned to enhance user experience. Earlier this week, WhatsApp Chat Themes and colours were available to iPhone users. As WhatsApp’s new feature has been rolled out to Android Beta users, we expect the public rollout to be announced soon.

WhatsApp Chat Themes and Colours:

As per WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has begun rolling out a new feature. Using this feature, users can choose a chat theme among 20 different colours. WhatsApp Beta version 2.24.21.34 update has brought this new feature.

Beta testers can download the latest WhatsApp update via Google Play Store. It is worth noting that not all beta testers might be able to receive the update.

As per the above image, users can personalize their conversations by enabling themes for specific chats. Users can either choose a default theme across all chats or go for a unique theme for each chat. This can be done by tapping the overflow menu within a chat.

Once a theme is chosen, colours are automatically set to match it. However, users can choose their colour for a chat.

With more than 22 different themes and 20 colours, users have multiple options to make chats easier to modify various conversations visually.

WhatsApp Chat Themes And Colours Account Eligibility:

Head over to the Google Play Store and install the latest version of WhatsApp on your smartphone. The new feature should be under Settings > Chats > Themes.

If you have received the update you will be able to see different chat themes and colours. Otherwise, be patient and wait for the public rollout. Presently, WhatsApp only allows users to choose between ‘Dark’, ‘Light’, and default theme modes.
