Ola Electric refreshed its two-wheeler category by launching the Roadster Series e-Bikes today in India. The Roadster Series consists of three models – Roadster, Roadster X, and Roadster Pro. Along with the launch of electric bikes at its annual event, ‘Sankalp 2024’ at the Futurefactory in Tamil Nadu, the company also shared its future roadmap. Additionally, the company disclosed its Bharat 4680 cells, battery pack, the MoveOS 5, and a new Gen-3 platform. Ola Electric also revealed plans to combine its Bharat 4680 cells into vehicles starting the first quarter 2026.

Customers can reserve their Roadster e-bikes starting today. Deliveries will commence in quarter four of 2025 for the Roadster and Roadster X models, whereas the Roadster Pro will be delivered in quarter four of 2026. The company has promised to offer an 8-year battery warranty and access to its charging network for all three models of the Roadster Series. The Roadster Series is assembled on a modular and scalable integrated Ola motorcycle platform. The e-bikes come with a modest and ultra-modern design.

The Roadster X electric bike sports a motor output of 11 kW and is also claimed to be the fastest e-bike in this category. It comes in three battery variants – a 2.5 kWh, a 3.5 kWh, and 4.5 kWh and sturns from 0-40 kmph in 2.8 seconds (with a 4.5 kWh battery). The Roadster X clocks a top speed of 124 kmph and a range of 200 km. For safety, the electric bike gets CBS (Combi Braking System), disc brakes, and advanced brake-by-wire technology. Other features include a 4.3-inch LCD display powered by MoveOS 5, Ola Maps, OTA updates, Digital Key Unlock, and Ola Electric App connectivity.
The Ola Roadster model gets three battery variants – 3.5 kWh, 4.5 kWh, and 6 kWh. It comes powered by a 13 kW motor, which helps the e-bike to accelerate from 0-40 kmph in 2 seconds (with a 6 kWh battery). At a maximum speed of 126kmph, the Roadster model offer a range of 248 km. While driving, riders can easily switch between Eco, Normal, and Hyper modes. Ola Roadster sports a 6.8-inch TFT touchscreen display and features such as cruise control, proximity unlock, AI-powered Krutrim assistant, and road trip planner.
On the flip side, the Ola Roadster Pro has two battery variants – an 8 kWh and 16 kWh. With an electric motor of 52KW, the e-bike produces a peak torque of 105Nm. The 16 kWh battery variant sturns from 0-60 kmph in 1.9 seconds, can attain a speed of 194 kmph, and covers a range of 579 km on a single charge. It features a 10-inch TFT touchscreen display, USD forks, two-channel switchable ABS for safety, and four riding modes.
Lastly, the Ola Roadster X electric bike is priced at Rs 74,999 for the 2.5 kWh battery variant, whereas 3.5 kWh and 4.5 kWh battery variants cost Rs 84,999 and Rs 99,999, respectively. Ola Roadster is priced at Rs 1.05 lakh for the 3.5 kWh battery variant, whereas the 4.5 kWh and 6 kWh battery variants are priced at Rs 1.20 lakh and Rs 1.40 lakh, respectively. Conversely, the Roadster Pro costs Rs 2.0 lakh for the 8 kWh battery model and Rs 2.5 lakh for the 16 kWh battery variant.
