India’s leading automaker by volume, Maruti Suzuki, has officially unveiled the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire sedan for the Indian market. The Swift-based subcompact sedan now has a new design and segment-first features. The sedan will be launched in India on November 11 next week. The pre-bookings of the sub-four-metre car have already commenced with a token amount of INR 11,000, while deliveries are expected to begin immediately after the launch.
2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire Subcompact Sedan Launch:
Once launched, the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire will lock horns with the soon-to-be-launched Honda Amaze, Tata Tigor, and the Hyundai Aura. The upcoming fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire will be offered in four variants – LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+. Dimension-wise, the new Maruti Dzire sedan measures 3,995mm in length, 1,735mm in width, and 1,525mm in height, while the wheelbase is 2,450mm.

2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire Subcompact Sedan Features:
The new Maruti Suzuki Dzire now gets a distinct exterior design sporting a large grille with horizontal slats, slim LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, new front and rear bumpers, new dual-tone alloy wheels, new Y-shaped LED taillights, and a chrome insert on boot lid. On the inside, the overall appeal looks fresh with dual-tone upholstery, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a new 3-spoke steering wheel, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, cruise control, and a 360-degree camera. The sedan also gets a blind-spot monitor and a segment-first electric sunroof.
Under the hood, the new-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire gets a new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z-series petrol engine, which is paired with a five-speed manual with an optional AMT transmission. The new unit is tuned for 80 bhp of power and 112 Nm of torque. We expect Maruti Suzuki India to offer a factory-fitted CNG version of the sedan as well. The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire is expected to cost between INR 6.5 lakh and INR 11 lakh (ex-showroom).
